These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Lucy & Phil LTD (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.


1. Definitions

  • “Company” refers to Lucy & Phil LTD, located at 227 Bath Road, Slough SL1 5GA, UK.
  • “Client” refers to the individual or entity requesting services from the Company.
  • “Services” include construction, moving, and cleaning services offered by the Company.
  • “Agreement” refers to the contractual understanding between the Client and the Company, as outlined in these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

The Company provides construction, moving, and cleaning services as agreed upon with the Client. A detailed scope of work, timelines, and costs will be outlined in a separate quotation or service agreement provided to the Client prior to the commencement of any service.


3. Booking and Payment

  1. Quotations: All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
  2. Booking Confirmation: A service is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed agreement or written approval from the Client.
  3. Deposits: A deposit may be required to secure a booking. This will be specified in the quotation.
  4. Payment Terms: Full payment must be made within the timeline specified in the service agreement or invoice. Late payments may incur additional charges.
  5. Methods of Payment: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or any other methods agreed upon in writing.

4. Client Responsibilities

  1. Provide accurate and complete information regarding the scope of work.
  2. Ensure access to the site or premises as required to deliver the services.
  3. Notify the Company of any specific requirements, restrictions, or potential hazards.
  4. Ensure all valuable or fragile items are secured before the commencement of services (applicable for moving and cleaning services).

5. Company Responsibilities

  1. Deliver services in a professional and timely manner.
  2. Use high-quality materials, equipment, and techniques as appropriate to the service.
  3. Communicate with the Client about any potential delays or issues.
  4. Maintain compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.

6. Amendments and Cancellations

  1. Amendments: Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and may affect the timeline and cost of services.
  2. Cancellations by the Client: Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation charges may apply depending on the notice period and the stage of service delivery.
  3. Cancellations by the Company: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to safety concerns, weather conditions, or equipment failures. Clients will be notified promptly.

7. Liability and Insurance

  1. The Company is insured to cover accidental damage or loss directly caused by its services. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.
  2. The Company is not liable for:
    • Pre-existing damage or defects.
    • Items not disclosed or hidden hazards on the premises.
    • Delays caused by factors beyond the Company’s control, such as weather or third-party disruptions.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the services provided will first be addressed through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration, as mutually agreed upon by the parties.


9. Confidentiality

The Company will not disclose the Client’s confidential information to any third party without written consent unless required by law. Similarly, the Client agrees not to disclose the terms of this Agreement or any proprietary methods used by the Company.


10. Termination

This Agreement may be terminated by either party with written notice. The Client will be liable for any services rendered up to the date of termination and any applicable cancellation fees.


11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal action arising from these Terms will be filed in the courts of England and Wales.
